Enterprise software comes with enterprise pricing. When you're running a small business or startup, that $50/month per tool adds up fast across all the different things you need to accomplish.
Good news: most basic document and image tasks don't require paid software. Here's what I've found works without spending money.
Documents and Contracts
Small business means lots of paperwork — just usually digital paperwork.
PDF Merger — Combining contract pages, bundling proposals with appendices, creating comprehensive quote packages.
PDF Watermark — Marking proposals as "DRAFT" until finalized. Adding company branding to shared documents.

What Paid Tools Are Worth It
I'm not anti-spending. Some paid tools are worth every penny:

- Project management if your team needs it
But basic document manipulation? Image resizing? Format conversion? These don't require subscriptions.
